The Thai fonts that come with Windows and MacOS are pretty hard to read, and differ a lot from typical Thai book fonts. Sure, eventually, you'll need to be able to read many different Thai writing styles, but for someone who's just learning the Thai alphabet, they are an unnecessary impediment to progress! There is a very easy-to-read, familiar, free, public-domain Thai font called Garuda which you can download to your computer from this webpage and use to read slice-of-thai.com. Here is what Garuda looks like at one particular font size:The font files are in the TrueType format that works on Windows XP (and beyond) and MacOS 10 computers. Here are the font files. In the sections below, we will explain how to download and install font files on your or computer and how to use them on. If you have any problems using Garuda, you might want to try, which is another TrueType font that looks identical to Garuda but which has a slightly different organization inside that may help your software to accept the font. You can install ST-TT-Garuda alongside Garuda and the two fonts won't interfere with each other. If you are 'lucky' enough to be using Photoshop or Illustrator, or old Windows 95/98 data, you might also want to try, which is yet a third version of Garuda designed to work around the many flaws and problems with various versions of Adobe software and, in some cases, old Windows software too.
AD-TT-Garuda won't interfere with ST-TT-Garuda or Garuda, so you can install them all simultaneously if you need to.If you were wondering, Garuda was designed by Unity Progess Co. As part of the Thai, placed into the public domain by some very nice people at, and further modified under the by some equally nice people at the (but the fonts work on Windows and Mac, too).I have never found a font as clean and readable as Garuda, not even amongst the commercial set, but here are some other cool sources for fonts:The Garuda font is actually distributed in a package called that includes a set of other free fonts such as Kinnari, Loma, Norasi, Purisa, Sawasdee, TlwgMono, TlwgTypewriter, TlwgTypist, Umpush, and Waree. As of January 2008, this set of fonts, already excellent, is still under active development and improvement (and they're not just for Linux). You can see and you can to download the complete set. Be sure that you pick the latest version, and be sure that you download the precompiled fonts (whose filenames generally begin with thai-ttf rather than thaifonts-scalable).These packages are in.tar.gz format, which is Unix's version of the popular.zip format. Cannot Choose FontsOur website was unable to check or select fonts on your web browser.
Usually this is because you have made a setting on your web browser to force the use of one particular font, either for all text or just for Thai text. You can find out more about how to check your browser's settingsSample:คุณ เก็บ เสื้อ ไว้ ไหนIf you do not see your font at all, then perhaps it is not on slice-of-thai.com's list. We tried to include all the fonts that a first-time Thai learner might want to use (generally avoiding the crazy esoteric ones). You can and we will be happy to add it.

As detailed the progress of the just the other day. The PPSSPP Team has also rolled out the latest update to the popular multi-platform PSP (PlayStation Portable) emulator. In this release speed was the focus as the Vulken backend has improved dramatically as well as devices (w/ dual-core) that use OpenGL also will see improvements with speed. Also RetroArch see official support with this v1.6 update. The website offers to get your started and answering some important aspect of the PSP emulator. Then if you need to peak at the be sure to visit this page from the official website..
This time, it's all about speed. The Vulkan backend has improved as is now the default where available, while the OpenGL backend has been properly multithreaded and now runs really fast on dual-core devices. The Android release will be rolled out slowly over the next week to catch bugs.
February 6, 2018: Back in the Play Store!. The appeal against the suspension was successful, as expected. We're back!Febraury 1, 2018: News update: PPSSPP temporarily gone from Play Store, OpenGL threading success. PPSSPP (not PPSSPP Gold, for some reason) was suspended by Google from the Play Store for unclear reasons.
I am appealing the decision. In the meantime, you can download the APK and install it manually. In other news, the new OpenGL threading code is turning out to be very fast, nearly reaching Vulkan speeds in some cases. So if games are running slow on your device, and it has more than one core - stay tuned for 1.6!
It will still be a while though before the code is fully stable, but it's already showing lots of promise.December 5, 2017: PPSSPP 1.5.4, - more crashfixes, mostly Vulkan. Another quick update to take care of some common crashes.November 30, 2017: PPSSPP 1.5.2, - fixes for common crashes. Released a quick update to take care of some common crashes in 1.5.November 29, 2017: PPSSPP 1.5 - Vulkan is here!. 1.5 has support for Vulkan, the new faster way to draw graphics. Supported on many modern Android devices, and if enabled (change Backend in Graphics settings) you will see a massive speed boost. PPSSPP 1.5 also has the usual assortment of fixes.
Full Vulkan support, also for Android now. Very fast on supported devices.
Note that Google Play might take a day or two to update, I'm doing a slow rollout this time to catch unexpected crashes from the new Vulkan backend etc. Develope r Joonie of Team Rebug has announced today the latest cfw release of the REBUG brand. This is not the iconic REX flavor of PS3 Custom Firmware, which is a hybrid of dex/cex, In order for the creation of REX, the team is dependent and still in search for file's needed for the creation of REX (4.85 DEX PUP). However, they have the LITE version ( a CEX based Cobra CFW) ready to go for. This is a welcomed update from as the landscape has been a bit light in choices (for 4.85). So having the developer's with one of the best name's in Custom,Firmware development is great to see now as an available option. Also, they have updated the Cobra payload to now version 8.2 & also the Rebug Toolbox has been updated ( toolbox addon requires installation in 'install package files' pkg is waiting for you there after installing REBUG) You can checkout all the feature's/patche's in the provided list below for this PlayStation 3 Custom FirmWare and then checkout full details/documentation of the release at rebug.me the official website (direct link found at bottom of article)..
UPDATE 04.85.01 - Improved PS3HEN Support AddedOriginal: Appears that developer has pushed an official update for the popular PS3 Homebrew known as multiMAN (or mM). We have not seen an official update (albeit from some unofficial modified version, that were not ideal), there was not much of a need for an update since the previous official update of 4.82 worked fine as is on 4.83 /4.84 / 4.85. In that time Sony's changes in 4.8x era of firmware were minimal and presented little changes for the PS3. The only thing that was missing was firmware detection of 4.83 and greater, as it was impossible for the application to know the offsets of future firmware's. However, deank quietly pushed an update via the applications online update. This new update provides official support for CFW 4.83 - 4.85 which will recognize and properly fix the cosmetic issue and display the new firmware presents.Other then that its the same old classic multiMAN, which is not a bad thing as this was and still is an iconic applications for the PS3. This powerful Homebrew is packed with tons of functionality for your cfw enabled PS3, Regarding support for PS3HEN user's I am not sure as of writing this if this version supports PS3HEN fully, (see 04.85.01 update) nothing is mentioned so we should not assume.
On brewology there is an unofficial multiMAN, but not sure how compatible many of the feature are (maybe we could have user's comment below with some feedback regarding ps3hen) PS3HEN user's in general should also realize that many PS3 Homebrew apps were created with CFW in mind. So there can be compatibility issue with some features.Note that ManaGunZ is supporting PS3HEN w/ a special PS3HEN mode that will disable the CFW features.. The PlayStation 2 is still in the cross-hairs for many developer's in the homebrew scene, hacker Cturt known for his work with PlayStation 4 exploits has turned his attention to the PS2. The motive for this exploration was to provide a 'slightly more convenient' way to execute homebrew on the PS2 and also with the newer consoles being hacked via webkit exploitation and the PAL models Ps2 demo disc that contain Yabasic, the hacker seen the potential and now that potential has came to fruition with the release of this write up of exploiting a PS2 with Yabasic on a PS2 Demo Disc in PAL regions.
The developer states in NTSC there may be a future solution (as mentioned in the conclusion of the writeup). Click to expand.I have 2 box android tv MX3-G in my house, one with Android 4.4.2 and another with my wife with Android 5.1.1, as the two boxes have root and has bluetooth 4.0, it was a control of ps3 with it, and I use it wirelessly without lags problem, I carry out all my android tests with these two boxs, testo daily all kinds of aps for android, and the PPSSPP had a radical change in speed compared to the gold version 1.5. 4 to 1.6.3, the good that I use the PPSSPP with control of ps3 as being a PSP same, by my tests emulators that run within the psp still need to give an improvement, as is the case of the emulator of neo geo cd, which runs in PPSSPP 1.6.3 only with some graphical flaws, as the speed rotates almost at the actual speed of the Neo Geo CD.
