I was just gifted a Weatherby Regency 20 gauge Over/Under.I have no experience what so ever with any Weatherby manufactured firearm.I am looking for a born date. The gun is going to need some repair and need to find out age of gun. Will need this info for parts searches and I would like to know what the age of the gun is.Serial # R08233.The Regency 20 ga. Came out in 1968, and was discontinued around 1989. Your serial number puts it in the early 1970's. There are virtually no parts available.

Weatherby has discontinued all parts, and I haven't found anywhere to find them. You might check with Numrich Gun Parts - they stock a bunch of parts.Any help out there? Thanks in advance for all help!!
